Pudgy is a Lara son & he too sleeps on my bed, & he snores. Unlike Lara he loves everything! He never misses a car ride, if you're a passenger you have to put up with him on your lap, & he puts the window down when he thinks I'm not looking. Walkies on the beach are the best & wallowing in the sea is just ace. He terrifies me when he runs in the sea & I can see this great big wave just about to roll over him....I try to keep to calm days when he can go in the rock pools & the gentle waves.
In Dec 2010 Pudgy went into severe liver failure, don't know why, spent a week in the vets, turned yellow & wasn't responding to treatment. Can't begin to describe what I was going through but most of you will know. Vets sent him home to die. His readings were way off the survivable scale. Came home & after 4 days I remember he ate a tiny piece of roast beef...& from that day forth continued to get better. My little miracle boy. Then had a stroke, head cocked now but he's ok & THEN....Sept '12 had pancreatitis & liver started to fail again. A week in the vets & not responding so home....& yes he got better! How many more heartaches can I go through...can't think of life without the little B! Nearly blind & deaf but oh so adored! My cocky git!
